Hebden Bridge, Lancashire
Semi‑permanent make‑up in Hebden Bridge
Thirty-five minutes on the A646 — one of the prettier drives to a brow appointment in England. Semi-permanent brows and lip blush by Alison Burns, at Escape Hair & Beauty on Briercliffe Road.

Coming from Hebden Bridgeand where to park
Thirty-five minutes through the Calder Valley and no motorway at all. It is a long way to come for brows and there is no pretending otherwise — what you get for it is one artist doing all of it herself, at a fixed price, with nothing added on at the end.
The A646 the whole way through the Calder Valley and over into Cliviger. Thirty-five minutes, and no motorway at all.
Book the earliest appointment of the day if you can. The valley road is far quicker before the traffic builds.
