What we collect, why, and how to make us stop.
Who we are. Lip Blush & Brows is a trading name of Escape Hair and Beauty (Burnley) Ltd (company no. 14882129), 152 Briercliffe Road, Burnley BB10 2NZ. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or ask for a guide we collect your name, email address, mobile number, the treatment you are interested in, your timescale and anything you write in the message box. That is all.
The suitability check is different. The health questions in it are answered and scored entirely inside your own browser. Those answers are never transmitted to us, never stored, and never attached to your contact details. If you choose to send your result, Alison receives only your name, your contact details, the treatment suggested and your timescale.
Why we hold it, and for how long
To reply to you, to arrange your appointment, and — if you have asked for it — to send occasional advice about your treatment. Our lawful bases are your consent (for marketing emails) and legitimate interests (replying to an enquiry you sent us).
Enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Who else sees it
Our website is hosted by Netlify, and our email list is run by Brevo. Both act as processors on our instructions. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Clinical records taken in the studio — your consultation form, your medical history and your consent form — are separate from this website, held by the salon, and kept for the period our insurer requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any message or writing to us at the address above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
